Suzy Systems is proud to announce the release of Version 3.84. This is an interim release containing the
following new features:
1. Real Time Eligibility Check
Users are now able to verify the status of a patient’s insurance. SuzyDENTAL will deliver the
current status of a patient’s dental insurance as well as benefit information as provided by the insurance
payers (Deductible, Plan Maximum, Coverage). No more trusting old insurance cards or time consuming phone calls!
You must have a permanent internet connection to use this service.
The results of all the requests are stored within SuzyDENTAL so that previous requests can be reviewed at any time.
There is a small cost for each eligibility request submitted. Contact your Suzy Salesperson for more information.
2. Managing Signed Forms
Incorporate handwritten signatures into Microsoft Word documents and forms and save them for future reference.
Upon closing the document will be locked to prevent changes. Signed documents are stored within
SuzyDENTAL and are able to be displayed or printed at any time, now or in the future.
The system supports any Microsoft Word document, currently we are providing templates for consent forms
and treatment plans.

The electronic signatures stored in these documents comply with the Uniform
Electronic Transactions Act (UETA) and Electronic Signatures in Global and
National Commerce (ESIGN) laws, and should be considered legally binding signatures.
To use this feature the following items are required:
1 – A SigLite electronic signature pad.
2 – Microsoft Word (Word 97 of greater).
3. Other Changes
A – Prescription Writer: Now allows for multiple formats for each state.
B – Recall Changes: Suzy now allows for regeneration of recall dates when new procedures are added to the
list of recall procedures. A shortcut has been provided, for changing recall/routing procedures,
to the recall menu.
C – The claims viewer can filter claims whether payment is made to the practice or directly
to the patient.
D - The Last Service Date Report now allows selecting and sorting by insurance companies.
