How do I crosstab (compare questions and results)?

To crosstab your data, use the “Crosstabs” section available on the results page of any multiple choice.  

Learn to use the Crosstabs functionalities in five easy steps.

  • Go to Insights Explorer in the left sidebar.
  • Scroll down to Crosstabs.
  • Click Choose Demographics pull-down menu for sorting options.
  • Click Show As - # to view responses by the numbers.
  • Click Add Question to correlate questions with other questions.

You can crosstab the following actions:

  • Multiple choice
    • Multiple choice
    • Scale grids
    • Rank grids
    • Custom Grids
    • Cut by:
  • Rating
    • Multiple choice
    • Scale grids
    • Rank grids
    • Custom Grids
    • Cut by:
  • Scale grids
    • Multiple choice
    • Rating
    • Cut by:
  • Rank grids
    • Multiple choice
    • Rating
    • Cut by:
  • Custom grids
    • Multiple choice
    • Rating
    • Cut by:
  • Monadic testing
    • To show the concept shown in your crosstabs, you must be in the monadic survey to have the concept
    • Any of the above
    • You can now cut comparison question by concept questions

Note: Grids cannot be cut by other grids
