How do I exclude a group from a quota?
To exclude a group from a quota, input a 0% next to grouping. This will exclude this group from the survey sample. For example, if a user only wants females in their survey, all quotas with ‘male or masculine’ should have 0%. Please note: if a quota is excluded from the study (has a 0%) you cannot add this group after the survey has gone live.
How precise can my quota percentages be?
All quota percentages must be rounded to the nearest 0.5%.
Can I modify quotas once my survey is live?
While you cannot add new quotas to a live survey, you can edit any existing quotas on a live survey, as long as your survey is less than 90% full. If needed, you can also delete any existing quotas from a live survey at any point. Note: once a quota is deleted, you can't add any new quotas.
When editing quota percentages, the platform will automatically adjust to meet the new quota amounts. When deleting a quota, any responses gathered before your quota removal will remain in your data, and the rest of your action will fill with natural fallout according to your other targeting settings.
- To edit or delete quotas for an action, click into the details page and click Edit.
- In the Audience page, you can adjust your quota percentages or use the trash bin icon to delete your quota.
- Click save to apply your changes.
What is the difference between interlocked and non-interlocked quotas?
Interlocked quotas are defined by more than one metric (ex: gender and region), meaning the respondent has to qualify for both demographics in order to fill that quota. Interlocked quotas give greater control over a study’s sample composition, but normally take longer to fill.
Non-interlocked quotas refer to quotas where metrics are separated, meaning the respondent only has to meet one metric to fill that quota (ex: age). Non-interlocked quotas give less control over a study’s sample composition but tend to fill faster than interlocked quotas.
